If you're a fan of citrus, particularly of grapefruit, this one is simplistically complex. With those gorgeous essential oil scents, we threw the kitchen sink of hair wonderful-ness into these. Check this out:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShampoo Bars:\u003cbr\u003e\nWe use no sulfates in our bars, instead using sodium cocoyl isethionate--an incredibly gentle cleansing agent that is sulfate free and has a luscious way of cleaning hair without stripping it. We added to that some spectacular additives. Biotin, or vitamin B-7, has been used as a volumizer for hair, as well as a strengthener. It is often used to help stop with hair fall, and may be helpful in that way. We used bamboo extract, which is loaded with nutrients to feed and create happy, healthy, strong hair. Jojoba oil gives that wonderful moisture, keeping your hair happy. Veggie keratin, to strengthen and protect. Vitamin E, to gently nourish the hair and scalp. Pro-Vitamin B-5, also for strengthening and helping smooth the hair shaft. Silk peptides, which boosts hair strength and moisture. Kokum butter, which provides intense hydration without greasiness, and which is also high in vitamin E. And... rhassoul clay--just a touch--for its natural conditioning ability. And powdered, organic rosemary, which makes for shinier hair! There are then... the essential oils! Grapefruit essential oil cleanses sebum from the scalp to help encourage hair growth. Rosemary essential oil, which is used frequently in many hair preparations, is typically used to help prevent hair fall.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eConditioner Bars:\u003cbr\u003e\nIn these, we use the spectacular BTMS, a sulfate-free, organically-processed conditioning and smoothing agent, along with cetyl, kokum butter, moringa oil (which can improve shine and softness as well as moisture), coconut oil, DL Panthenol (ProVitamin B-5), biotin (vitamin B-7), bamboo extract, veggie keratin, vitamin E, polyquaternium-7 (A great scalp conditioner, which has very specific effects as it soothes. It works as an anti-static, and moisturizes the hair. Polyquaternium-7 detangles, facilitates combing, gives the hair better body, and improves hair dryness.), silk peptides, pink grapefruit essential oil and rosemary essential oil. We also use a small amount of a natural preservative, called Optiphen. We have trace amounts of cyclomethicone in the conditioner, for silkiness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe try to keep things as simple as possible, by using ingredients that are effective and really nice to hair, without adding in all of the chemicals that are usually found in commercial products. We use organic most of the time, as well as staying as close to nature as possible on the non-organics. We keep our shampoos and conditioners sulfate free. We never test any of our products on animals. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShampoo bars weigh in at 3 ounces, and the conditioner bars weigh a bit over 2 ounces. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo use: Wet your hair as usual, then rub the bar between your hands and apply the lather. Or you can rub the bar directly on hair, then lather. My personal preference is to use the bars directly on hair. For the conditioner, I apply directly to freshly washed hair, while it's soaking wet from rinsing out the shampoo, concentrating on the ends. I leave it in for a couple of minutes, then rinse thoroughly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKeep your bars out of standing water, and for best, longest-lasting results, allow to dry between uses. Using a soap rack is ideal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs with all hair care products, keep out of eyes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese shampoo bars come wrapped in 100% recyclable, biodegradable, compostable glassine bag\/paper.
