Aurora - Shampoo or Conditioner

Our Aurora shampoo and/or conditioner bars have rapidly become my favorite! We decided to create something for those who have a bit drier hair and want a little extra nourishment for those gorgeous strands! The scent is just so... beautiful! Of course, everyone has different taste in scents, so I'll give the scent notes, which are: bright citrus fruits of lemon and bergamot, leafy olive branches, very understated musk, vanilla, fresh ripe strawberry, tangy raspberry, sweet jasmine, fragrant gardenia and succulent peach. Together, this is an accord that simply smells fantastically rich, exquisitely so. Though many of the fragrance notes are fruity, this isn't a really fruity scent. It just smells bright, clean, warm, and lovely.

Shampoo bar ingredients:
The special ingredients in these are: cupuacu butter, prized for its conditioning and strengthening properties. It's helpful for smoothing and helping natural shine. Next, we used frankincense powder, for its hydration and strengthening. It's said to be fantastic for scalp cleansing, as well. Tart cherry extract, which is loaded with vitamins B and C, and helps with a clean, happy scalp and strong hair. Amla powder, also known as Indian gooseberry, which is often added to hair care routines in places like India and Thailand. It's loaded with vitamins, too! Blue Cambrian clay, which is one of our favorite things in shampoo, is jam-packed with vitamins and minerals, to feed and cleanse scalp and hair. Provides a little boost to appearance of body as well! Organic rose petal powder, with its natural conditioning properties, helps smooth the hair cuticle, which may help to reduce the appearance of frizz and boost hair's natural shine. Rowanberry, rich in vitamins A and C is lovely in this, as well. It's used in Asia for hair that needs a little joy. Our usual, DL Panthenol (ProVitamin B-5) is in this, along with rose hips oil, jojoba oil, a conditioning agent known as Varisoft, vitamin E, veggie keratin, biotin, and in this one, a light touch of water-soluble collagen peptides.

The conditioner contains wonderful ingredients as well. Like the shampoo, our special ingredients in this are: rose hips oil, jojoba oil, cupuacu butter. We added coconut oil, and a small amount of water-soluble collagen peptides. Of course, it's made with BTMS 50 and 25; simply incredible for conditioning and smoothing; it's an excellent conditioner to moisturize and smooth hair. This also has Varisoft, a conditioning agent that is made with 100% vegetable products. It's a super-conditioner, and we LOVE it!

These bars are ecologically friendly, wrapped in glassine-paper or in post-recycled soap boxes, and with biodegradable labels, too! With these, there are no plastic bottles to go into a landfill. No plastic bottles to end up in the ocean. :) Just an eco-friendly bar of great shampoo or conditioner, in eco-friendly wrapping!

The shampoo bars weigh 3 oz, and the conditioner just over 2 oz. Keep the bars out of standing water, and allow to dry on a rack between uses for best, longest lasting bars. The shampoo bar lasts a bit longer than a typical 24 oz bottle of shampoo, and the conditioner bar lasts longer even than that, often lasting through 2 shampoo bars. It is truly very concentrated.

As we said above, our goal is to provide eco-friendly products, which won't add anything more to landfills or the ocean, so we package our bars in fully biodegradable paper.
