Matcha (Green) Tea Shampoo or Conditioner Bars

This shampoo and conditioner bar pair is truly fantastic! With matcha tea, French green clay, kokum butter and moringa oil, it hydrates...and calms! The gentle, fresh scent is a lovely blend that is described as "an aromatic scent of green tea, tempered by a hints of sandalwood, bamboo, and undertones of grounded florals to offer a scent that is less citrusy than that of its common counterparts, more eastern in flair." All I can say is it smells so bright and fresh!

The kokum butter, a dry but hydrating natural butter, is so wonderful for hair! It's said to give intense hydration to hair without greasy after-effects. This stuff is so nice. It's not greasy at all, yet gives a lovely amount of great, natural moisture to hair. The moringa oil, a lightweight and organic oil, strengthens hair, provides shine and softness, and helps to mend split ends. The matcha tea, used for centuries in Asia, is said to help stop hair fall, while strengthening strands. The French green clay helps eliminate dirt and product build-up. We used veggie keratin and silk peptides, both of which really help protect and silken hair. The DL Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B-5) in this is excellent for conditioning! BTMS is a fantastic conditioning agent, too! Both the shampoo and conditioner also have vitamin E oil.

Overall, this is a product that was targeted to normal to dry hair, both for the shampoo and conditioner. But even oily hair will feel the love with this stuff.

Shampoo ingredients:
Sodium coco isethionate, SLSA, matcha tea powder, French green clay, moringa oil, BTMS, cetyl, kokum butter, coco betaine, DL Panthenol, veggie keratin, vitamin E oil, silk peptides, stearic acid, fragrance, mica colorant.

Conditioner ingredients:
BTMS, cetyl, kokum butter, moringa oil, coconut oil, polyquaternium 7, DL Panthenol, silk peptides, veggie keratin, optiphen, cyclomethicone, fragrance, mica colorant.

The shampoo bars weigh 3 oz, and the conditioner just over 2 oz. Keep the bars out of standing water, and allow to dry between uses for best, longest lasting results. The shampoo bar lasts a bit longer than a typical 16 oz bottle of shampoo, and the conditioner bar lasts longer even than that, typically.
