• Amla oil - is used for shinier, stronger hair. It's nourishing, helping with hair from root to tip.
• Camellia seed oil - a rare oil, this one was chosen because it's said to help smooth the cuticle along the outer layer of hair, resulting in smoother looking hair. It's a Japanese traditional hair product.
• GF Wheat Germ oil - great for all hair types, this easily-absorbable oil is fantastic for dry hair. It's really terrific for any hair type and is extremely lightweight, allowing for happier, smoother hair.
• Hyaluronic acid - typically used as a beauty treatment, hyaluronic acid for hair is superb! It's said to help lock in moisture and reduce frizz. It's also used to help boost hair volume/body.
• DL Panthenol - ProVitamin B-5, this is a fantastic, lightweight conditioning product. It's absolutely terrific!
• Essential oils of - Ylang-ylang, sandalwood, orange, jasmine, chamomile and rose oil -- all of which are touted to be fantastic for happy, healthy hair and scalp.
Overall, this very complex, very natural shampoo bar is great for pretty much all hair types. It rinses incredibly clean, lathers like crazy, and smells glorious. The ylang-ylang is very subtle, the sandalwood stands out above. The bright notes of jasmine, rose and chamomile are not strong--just subtle and minimal. This shampoo is very unisex in its scent!
The shampoo bars weigh just over 3 oz. Keep the bars out of standing water, and allow to dry between uses for best, longest lasting results. The shampoo bar typically lasts a quite bit longer than a typical 16 oz bottle of shampoo.
To use the shampoo, wet hair, rub the bar over your hair, and lather it up. I follow up with a "rinse and repeat."
As we said above, our goal is to provide eco-friendly products, which won't add anything more to landfills or the ocean, so we package our bars in fully biodegradable paper.
