Night Whispers Solid Shampoo or Conditioner Bars

Deep, dark, woodsy, spicy, and...so much more! This shampoo and conditioner bar set are just superbly beautiful and have great stuff in them to make hair happy! We used a Japanese favorite--camellia seed oil--in this one. For many years, Japanese women have used this highly prized oil to give shine and strength to their beautiful hair. We also used cupuacu butter, to feed and nourish. Cupuacu holds a massive amount of moisture without greasiness. And, the hair-and-scalp food called Camu Camu! It's a South American fruit that's loaded with great stuff like antioxidants and vitamins. We LOVE this one.

The scent of this bar was requested by a client, so we went to work blending fragrance oils. This scent, which we've named Night Whispers, is elegant. Base notes are sandalwood, dragon's blood resin oil, amber and musk. Middle notes are jasmine, blackberry, patchouli, tarragon, cashmere and chocolate. Top notes are champagne, bergamot, aquatic, cyclamen and apricot. Overall, this scent is complex and deep.

About our ingredients: Camu Camu is a fruit native to South America. The vitamin c and antioxidants in Camu Camu feed and nourish hair and scalp. The Olivem-1000 is an olive-oil based product that conditions and helps with comb-ability of hair. Cupuaçu is the perfect active ingredient to nourish and restore hair that is very dry or damaged. Hair that is curly by nature can also benefit – cupuaçu is a great alternative to shea butter for dry or brittle hair, improving hydration, shine, and softness. Camellia seed oil is a very protective oil, being naturally rich in antioxidants including Vitamin E and Polyphenols. When applied to the hair and scalp, Camellia Seed Oil hydrates, softens, adds luster, and tames dandruff.

The shampoo bar ingredients: Sodium cocoyl isethionate (SCI), SLSA, Camu Camu, rhassoul clay, BTMS, cetyl, cupuacu butter, camellia seed oil, stearic acid, CAPB, DL Panthenol, silk peptides, veggie keratin, vitamin E, biotin, bamboo extract, fragrance and mica colorant.

The conditioner bar ingredients: BTMS, cetyl, polyquaternium-7, cupuacu butter, coconut oil, Olivem-1000, camellia seed oil, biotin, bamboo extract, silk peptides, DL Panthenol (ProVitamin B-5), vitamin E, veggie keratin, optiphen, fragrance, mica colorant, cyclomethicone.

Our shampoo bars are about 33% larger than most -- a full 3 ounces, and will last quite a long while for most people. I've found that one bar lasts quite a bit longer than a 16 ounce bottle of shampoo. As I use these, I've found the conditioner does last a bit longer than the shampoo. It just GOES AND GOES... awesome, right?

Our goal is to provide eco-friendly products, which won't add anything more to landfills or the ocean, so we package our bars in fully biodegradable paper.
