This purple toning shampoo is delightful. We used some fabulous, hair-loving ingredients to cleanse as it tones! The scent is the same one as our "Blue" shampoo. If you're familiar with a famous-maker fragrance by a similar name, you guessed it: This has THAT heavenly scent. The fragrance notes in this are described as a fresh aquatic that opens with cedar, apple and bluebells, a bouquet of jasmine, bamboo and white rose bottoming out with cedarwood and musk. And oh my goodness. The word "fresh" doesn't begin to describe how beautiful this one smells. It's also very unisex in its scent!
The ingredients are the very gentle and non-sulfate SCI for lather, SLSA (which is a non-sulfate cleanser that boosts lather beautifully), Cambrian blue clay, bhringraj powder (also known as false daisy), BTMS (awesome conditioning agent), cetyl (conditioning agent), shea butter, amla oil, argan oil (all three of the former are just divine for shining, smooth hair), stearic acid (from coconut oil), coco betaine (pH balanced lathering agent made from coconut), fragrance, DL Panthenol (proVitamin B-5), biotin, vitamin E, veggie keratin, veggie glycerin and the toning ingredient: manganese violet. Each ingredient was carefully chosen to make your hair feel and look glorious.
This bar doesn't deposit color, but it tones gray, blonde and other light colored hair. It's really nice! Loaded with some spectacular ingredients, too.
Each bar weighs in at just over 3 ounces.
To use, just rub the shampoo bar over wet hair, and lather up. Some prefer to lather it in their hands and then apply to hair. Rinse and repeat (if desired).
Keep your bars out of standing water. The drier they are, the longer they last. Leaving them to melt in water will diminish their longevity. Use of a wooden or plastic soap rack -- or a shampoo bar mesh bag is highly suggested!
